Fluorovizion was founded in 1998 and after securing the exclusive Sub-Saharan Linvatec distribution rights we grew from strength to strength.

The BIONIX Biosorbable range of products were taken on in 2003 and highlighted Fluorovizion as a major player in the Orthopaedic market.

The company had now entered the Self-Reinforced and Bio absorbable product sectors, and within a very short time gained a respectable market share in both new and existing product ranges.

In 2005 Fluorovizion acquired the CONMED LINVATEC business from ARTHROCOM AND ARTHROTEC. Fluorovizion is now fully specialised in Arthroscopy, Imaging, ENT and in the complete range of Power Tools across multi disciplines enabling for the first time complete standardisation to our customers. This is what set Fluorovizion apart from all its competitors and enabled us grow and expand into value added services for our customers such as:

1.Our repair and service centre is CONMED Linvatec and FDA approved. We repair each product to the manufacturers specification locally. We have perfected the concept of service back-up by training in-house staff to repair and service our products.

2.Our training center is capable of accommodating 40 delegates and incorporates a dry-lab, lecture hall and non-sterile theatre. This facility shows Fluorovizion’s commitment to investing in the South African Orthopaedic sector through education and support.

3.The Fluorovizion office and training facility comprises of more than 1000m2, and coupled with our dynamic staff compliment, we offer the complete CONMED LINVATEC range of products including Linvatec imaging, and expanding into Digital Operating Rooms, which translates into QUALITY and SERVICE EXCELLENCE to our valued customers
